This website is a collaborative effort across the entirety of northwest Minnesota to provide support for the CTE ecosystem. What the Perkins Consortia leadership across the region quickly learned during the COVID pandemic was we cannot do this alone, and one way we can collectively support is to build capacity amongst our CTE teachers and share anything we do and learn to help others do the same. With that operating premise, we also are careful to keep the fundamental purposes of career and technical education in mind and assure that our schools and teachers are doing so as well. We have learned that many programs look and feel like CTE programs, but lack fundamental components of high quality programs. While we acknowledge we all have growth, this is a journey we are on together. A journey that is integral to the economy of Minnesota, our nation, and most importantly, it is a journey necessary for the success of our students.
